Diamantbuurt Bathhouse
Amsterdam
On Diamantstraat stands a round building that once served a very ordinary yet essential purpose: giving residents without a private bathroom access to hot water. The municipal bathhouse from 1925–1926 connects Amsterdam School architecture with public health, working-class housing and a vanished daily routine.
